Understanding your neurodivergent child, one step at a time.
Practical, paediatrician-led courses that help parents make sense of a diagnosis, support their child, and feel confident about what comes next. Autism, ADHD, and beyond.
Opening January 2027. Learning for parents, at your own pace.
Led by a paediatrician with 15+ years in developmental and behavioural paediatrics · ADOS-trained · Taught alongside specialists and allied health professionals
A diagnosis raises more questions than it answers.
The appointment ends, and you're left holding a word you didn't expect and a hundred questions no one had time to answer. What does this mean for your child? What do you do tomorrow morning? The advice online is endless and contradictory, and none of it seems to fit your family.
You don't need more noise. You need clear guidance from people who actually understand neurodivergent children.

Support built around your child, not a textbook.
The Centre for Neurodivergence brings together paediatric expertise and a team of specialists to give parents something rare: clear, trustworthy courses you can actually use. Learn what the diagnosis means, how to support your child day to day, and how to become an active part of their therapy, all at your own pace, from home.

Wherever you are on the path, there is a place to start. Grandparents, carers and educators are welcome too.

Guided by paediatric expertise.
The Centre for Neurodivergence was founded by Dr. Czarina Atupan-Calderon, a general paediatrician with more than 15 years of experience in developmental and behavioural paediatrics. Trained in the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), Dr. Calderon oversees the Centre's courses to ensure every lesson is accurate, current, and genuinely useful for families.
Courses are taught by Dr. Calderon alongside a team of specialists and allied health professionals, so parents learn from the right expert for each topic.
I want every parent to feel they have an experienced partner in the care of their child. That's what this Centre is built to be.

Taught by people who know the field.
Dr. Calderon oversees every course, but she teaches alongside a team of specialists and allied health professionals.

Every course starts with what a family actually needs to hear, not what looks good on a slide.

The right words at the right moment can change how a whole day goes.

Small changes at home add up to a child who feels like the world fits them.
Learning that fits around family life.

Questions parents ask us.
What is the Centre for Neurodivergence?
An online education platform for parents and carers of neurodivergent children. Courses are overseen by a paediatrician with more than 15 years in developmental and behavioural paediatrics and taught with a team of specialists and allied health professionals.
Is it only about autism?
No. Courses cover autism, ADHD and other kinds of neurodivergence. Some courses are about a specific diagnosis; others, like sleep or working with schools, apply to many families.
Do I need a diagnosis to start?
No. Many parents come to us while they are still waiting for an assessment. The free introductory courses are written for exactly that stage: what the words mean, what to expect, and what helps in the meantime.
How much does it cost?
The introductory courses are free to start. Deeper courses are paid, priced per course with no subscription. Prices are shown in Australian dollars on each course page when we open.
When does the Centre open?
January 2027. The first courses will be available a few months before that. Log in to the app to see what is live.
How do the courses work?
Each course is a series of short video and written lessons grouped into modules. You learn at your own pace, from any device, and can return to a lesson as often as you like.
Is this medical advice?
No. Our courses are general education for parents. They do not replace assessment or treatment from the clinicians who know your child, and presenters cannot answer questions about individual children. See our Disclaimer for details.
Can I join from outside Australia?
Yes. The Centre is based in Australia, but the courses are online and open to parents anywhere. Some content about school systems and support services is written for Australian families.
